SYSTEMS ! I have done systems and systems management for 35-40 years. Here is a common sense rule and best practice that is true in ALL successful business. You put up the NEW system first, migrate to the new system, run the systems in parallel and evaluate C/B (cost-benefit), and finally workout sun downing the old system. You never ever cancel the production system and say we'll work out the new one later and it'll be great. Any analyst, consultant, executive who does will be fired and laughed out of the company and the brunt of jokes for years. Also, if the new system is not better, you always have a roll back plan. It seems like 'kill Obamacare and ask questions later" is a foolhardy and irresponsible approach no business would ever in a million years embark on. I think we all need to remind Congress that we've had years of failed healthcare business process. Americans have suffered long enough. Don't screw it up !
