I like beginning on the East Bluff Trail

Once upon a time it looks like Horus was big with the natives.

Purple quartzite everywhere. Kind of like low grade amethyst.

Lots of interesting under growth

Sumac was at maximum

The other trees shwed they colors too

Parking tag. Very reasonable for a car for a day for any Wisconsin state park.
